How to become a Licensed Optician
To become an optician, one must obtain a license from the Virginia Board for Hearing Aid Specialists and Opticians after either a three-year apprenticeship through the Virginia Department of Labor (DOLI) or obtaining an Associate Degree at an approved college.
Membership is for a year, and renews based on your join date.
